Rice + Chocolate = Unusual Bliss
Champorado | July 2005The Philippines is the only place I know where rice is served in every meal of the day. Most importantly breakfast.
This is champorado (correct my spelling if ever), or in layman's terms, rice with chocolate. Yes, chocolate.
What a wonderful thing to wake up to (and yes, it tastes good).
Forget your cereal and toast guys. Head to your nearest Filipino neighbour and have some.

Champorado is actually not rice and chocolate, but rather rice and cocoa powder.
